Poland - 4 matches in a row for Maryse

Maryse Chaboteaux was playing in Poland last week.  She had to play the qualification of the international junior tournaments! She battled during the 3 first matches and reached the main draw.

In the draw, she won her first round, before loosing against a Chinese.

Congratulations Maryse for this result, and good luck for the next tournaments!

French Open - Great results for Irina

Irina played a great tournament! For the first time in her career, she reached the semi-finale of a Grand Slam.  In the last quarter, the Tunisian Ons Jabeur defeated her!  But this tournament will stay a particular experience for Irina!

In the next weeks, the Russian player will play for the first time on Grass! 

With all her results this year, the young Irina is now number one under 18!

Irina semi-finalist at Roland Garros!

Irina did a great performance in Roland Garros.  She qualified for the semi-final!   In the quarter final, she defeated Torro-Flor 6-3 6-3.  She will try to qualify for the final on Friday, on court 2, around 12.30-1PM Local Time, against Ons Jabeur!

Welcome to the testing days 2010!

On Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 of June, 6th Sense is organising testing days for players who would like to enter the full time program! 

Around 20 players from Belgium and other countries will be there.

Maryna and Irina advance

In Czech Republic, Maryna qualified for the main draw of an ITF Tournament (25,000$).  Maryna continues in this way today in the first round.  She defeated Julie Cohen (WTA 176, seed 4)! 

Next match for Maryna on Wednesday!

In Roland Garros, it was more difficult for  Irina in the first round.  But after a great battle, the Russian won this first match 4-6 6-4 6-3!
