HANTUCHOVA IN THE ACADEMY

Daniela Hantuchova is preparing US Open 2010 in 6th Sense Tennis Academy.

As usual, Pat Etcheberry is taking care of the fitness part and Carlos Cuadrado is taking care of the tennis part.

First WTA point for Kimberley!

Kimberley is in Belgium during July and August, at 6th Sense Belgium.  She plans to play some ITF Juniors and ITF Women tournaments.

For her first ITF Women 10,000$, the Belgian honored her WC in the main draw, defeating Laura Bernard in the "Charles-Quint" tournament (Brussels).  She played very good tennis and won the match 6-0 6-3.  In the next round, she will play the experimented Zlochova (WTA 510, 20 years).

Good Job Kimberley and good luck for the next round!!! 

Gator Bowl

Jason Legall played in his first ATP (Gator Bowl) Junior Tennis Championships held in Ponte Vedra, Florida.

This is a Level 3 National tournament that attracted players from all over the country.  Jason played in the Boys12s Division.

Jason had a good showing for his first time playing this tournament.  In a 32 player draw he made it to the quarterfinals by winning his first two matches 7-6(4)); 6-1 and 6-0; 6-1.

He succumbed to the #2 seed 6-1; 6-0 trying to get to the semifinals.

TITLE FOR KIMBERLEY ZIMMERMAN IN BARBADOS (ITF G4)

This morning, Kimberley was playing the Finals of teh Barbados Jr Internationl 2010 against Caroline Price (ITF 600) the second seed of the draw.

It was windy but Kimberley was able to take advantage of the situation.
She won the first 7/5, lost the second 6/4 and catch the third 6/2.

This very good results (combined with the doubles result) will help her to climb inthe ITF ranking.

KANDIS LEGALL REACHED THE QUARTERFINALS IN BARBADOS (ITF G4)

For her second ITF tournament Kandis reached the QuarterFinals and got some more ITF points.

She won her 2 first matches in 2 sets. The first match 6/1 6/0 against Dottin from Barbados and the second 6/3 6/4 against Chypyha from Canada (ITF 846 and seed #6)

She reached also the Quarterfinals with Kimberley Zimmermann (from the academy also) in the doubles draw.
